Annie’s Project
Farm Credit is a proud sponsor of Annie’s Project. Annie’s Project is an organization dedicated to providing educational programs designed to strengthen women’s roles in modern agricultural enterprises. Their mission is to empower women in agriculture to be successful through education, networks and resources.
Annie’s Project participants learn about human resource issues, business planning, financial documentation, property titles, cash and crop share leases, marketing plans, retirement and estate planning and insurance. Farm Credit has long been a proud sponsor of this educational program that empowers farm and ranch women by strengthening their professional skills and exposing them to a network of local agricultural experts.
Throughout its history, Annie’s Project has empowered over 19,000 women farmers, ranchers, growers, landowners and agriculturists to be change agents who strengthen their businesses, families and communities.
Cultivating Change
Farm Credit is proud to sponsor the Cultivating Change Foundation, whose mission is to value and elevate LGBTQ+ agriculturists through advocacy, education and community. The efforts of the Foundation are geared towards building a more equitable and diverse workforce within the agricultural sector, leading ultimately to a more innovative and resilient industry.
Farm Credit’s support of the annual Cultivating Change Summit helps bring together LGBTQ+ and allied agricultural industry professionals, producers, educators and students nationwide together to learn and grow. In addition to the annual Summit, Cultivating Changes offers opportunities through scholarships, mentorships, networking events and advocacy.
National Black Growers Council
Farm Credit partners with the National Black Growers Council (NBGC), an organization that represents Black farmers, and sponsors their Model Farm Series of agricultural tours for row crop growing members to showcase their operations as teaching opportunities. Local Farm Credit chapters participate in the Model Farm Field Days and, in some cases, bring HBCU agricultural students to participate.
Tribal Agriculture Fellowship Program
Farm Credit proudly supports the Tribal Agriculture Fellowship (TAF) program, which awards fellowships to Native American, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian students pursuing technical, undergraduate, and graduate degrees in agriculture with the goal of strengthening the flow of Indigenous professionals into tribal agriculture. TAF aims to build a talent pipeline of well-educated and well-connected community leaders with specialized knowledge about Tribal land bases, governance frameworks and cultural agriculture practices.

Farm Credit offers MANRRS VIP Scholars program to enhance leadership skills and provide robust networking opportunities.
