Dan Erickson joined the board of directors in 2026. Erickson partners with his wife in their family farming operation in Alden, Minn. He has been self-employed on the farm since earning a degree in general agriculture from South Dakota State University in 1999. Erickson is chair of Compeer Financial’s board of directors and serves on the AgriBank District Farm Credit Council. He served as a regional representative for the Minnesota Corn Growers Association from 2006 to 2017 and is a past president and treasurer of the Freeborn County Corn and Soybean Growers Association. He is a department officer with the Alden Fire Department and is involved in Alden 4-H, Sons of the American Legion and Crossroads Church. Erickson also operates an Umbarger Show Feeds dealership with his daughter.
