Bo Stone joined the board of directors in 2018 and served as board chair from 2023 to 2026. He is from Rowland, North Carolina, and owns and operates P&S Farms Inc. and Bo Stone Farms LLC. The row-crop units produce corn, wheat and soybeans and the operations include a swine finishing unit under contract with Smithfield, a cow-calf herd, timber management and small produce for a roadside stand. Stone is a director of AgFirst Farm Credit Bank and AgCarolina Farm Credit. He also serves on the FCCS board of directors. Stone holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business Management with a minor in Animal Science and a master’s degree in Agriculture from North Carolina State University.
