Following 42 years in banking, most recently serving as market president of the Northern Neck Region, Atlantic Union Bank, in Warsaw, Virginia, Rusty retired in September 2025 as a director (33 years) and former chairman of Northern Neck Electric Cooperative and as a director and former chairman of the VA-MD-DE Association of Electric Cooperatives, as well as a director of Old Dominion Electric Cooperative. Rusty is the owner of Cobham Hall Farm, a grain and timber farm. He has been a member of the CoBank board since 2017 and holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary and has received several diplomas and certificates from banking schools.
