- Legal Support: Provide comprehensive support to our Legal, Loan Services, Title Services and Marketplace teams.
What You Need:
- Education: An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Paralegal Certification with 3 years of related experience as a paralegal.
- Proficient in reviewing and preparing transactional documents.
- Additional experience in finance, real estate and/or title work is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication skills for effective interactions with internal and external customers, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work.

Flexible Work Environment: Jefferson City, MO is the preferred location; however, all other FCS Financial Branch locations will be considered based on the candidate’s qualifications and needs. Hybrid (in office/remote) or fully remote work options will be considered for the right candidate based on qualifications and location. |

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Paralegal Certification
- 3 years of related experience as a paralegal
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Working knowledge of real estate law and transactions
- Working knowledge of title insurance and closing processes
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
- Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Communication skills sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics and to effectively communicate complex issues
- Skill in utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Skill in processing complex, detailed information in an accurate and thorough manner
- Skill in working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues
- Verbal and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and customers
- Skill in organizing material and information in a systematic way to optimize efficiency
- Skill in applying processes and procedures to factual data to come to make logical decisions
- Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association’s systems and data and clients’ data
