MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Accounting Business Analyst researches, plans, and implements software solutions and services to solve business problems and improve efficiency, while also supporting assigned technology platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Research and document business requirements by facilitating discussions with subject matter experts to gain an understanding of their business needs
- Recommends project deliverables and timelines and leads assigned projects to improve current business solutions and/or implement new solutions
- Identifies, investigates, recommends, and documents improvements to AgHeritage processes by leading stakeholder discussions/workgroups, researching, testing, and implementing approved process improvements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or information systems with at least three years of experience in business analysis, project management, or loan accounting. The role requires knowledge of loan accounting systems, accounting principles, and GAAP, as well as the ability to analyze processes, plan and coordinate complex projects, and create technical documentation and training materials. Strong skills in collaboration, problem-solving, supporting technology solutions, and presenting information effectively are essential.
