POSITION PURPOSE
Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Appraiser/Field Representative. Duties include but are not limited to, understanding Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma Credit goals and objectives while participating in obtaining these goals. Coordinating with the branch offices and Association staff in a business oriented and professional manor. Provide credible appraisals by following the provisions of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). While a Certified General Appraiser license in Oklahoma is preferred, it is not required. We are open to assisting the right candidate, who demonstrates strong potential and a passion for agricultural finance, in achieving their designation as a licensed Certified General Appraiser
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ability to provide objective, credible, unbiased opinions on the market value of real property associated with Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma activities.
- Collect, analyze and enter sales information obtained from assigned counties into the Association sales database.
- Appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association’s systems, data and clients’ data.
QUALIFYING CHARACTERISTICS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Agriculture, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics or other related field.
- Preferred: Certified General Appraiser license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Analytic and problem-solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making.
Ability to work well with staff at all levels; exercise initiative; convey ideas clearly and make sound business decisions.
