Position Overview:
This position provides processing and administrative assistance to the Tax and Accounting department, as well as providing team members and clients with professional, accurate, efficient and reliable support. You’ll collaborate closely with full-time Assistants, gaining insight into the culture of an agricultural tax and accounting firm within a dynamic and engaging environment.
This position requires a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week, with an ideal expectation of up to 40 hours per week, beginning January 2, 2025 through mid-April 2025. More details regarding the training and schedule will be provided at the time of an interview.
Essential Functions:
- Scan, process, print and mail client W2’s, 1099 forms and various tax returns.
- Ensure tax service fees are uploaded into system.
- Completes various tax and accounting mailings.
- Provide accurate and timely accounting and tax processing support.
- Maintains tracking system and adheres to department policies, procedures and best practices to balance the workload and meet aggressive timelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
- Skills in using MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability and willingness to learn Adobe and other technology.
