Commercial/Capital Markets Servicing Specialist – Kenansville, NC

As a Servicing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in our Commercial-Capital Markets team. From conducting internal loan closings and completing final loan verifications to setting up and maintaining both digital and secured loan files, your work will help ensure a seamless experience for our customers. You will work in a culture that is mission-driven, values strong customer service skills, multi-tasking, confidentiality, attention to detail, time management, and organization.

What You’ll Do:
– Accurately and efficiently assist with closings of all sized loans with moderate complexity while meeting work quantity expectations
– Timely and accurately key payment and ledger entries, prepare deposits, transaction summaries, and daily balancing
– Adhere to Association’s internal controls policy
– Ensure files are complete and scan loans per Association policy
– Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for capital markets and commercial portfolios
– Show initiative by proactively pulling loans from the queue
– Demonstrate mastery of Servicing Specialist duties with minimal oversight
– Ensure all customers have a great customer experience
– Effectively communicate with customers and team members
– Demonstrate a commitment to learning and growing by proactively following development plan
– Maximize quality business growth to meet Association’s p rofitability and other business plan objectives

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who:
– Has education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree in business, legal, or accounting
– Possesses strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills
– Is detail-oriented with excellent communication (oral and written) skills
– Is a quick learner, adaptable, and highly organized
– Has computer experience with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
– Can work independently under general supervision
