Horizon Farm Credit is actively seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation/Scanning Specialist to join our Post Closing Quality Assurance team in Cumberland County, PA. This is a great opportunity to make a difference for agriculture and rural communities.

Overview This full-time position is located at our Mechanicsburg office located at 300 Winding Creek Blvd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. The hours of operations are typically, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position offers the opportunity for 1 day of remote work per week after 6 months of successful employment.

In this position, you will work closely with the loan processing team to provide post-closing support to our customers. You will perform a variety of duties to ensure proper follow up and closing of loans for agriculture, equipment, real estate processing and closings, etc. In this position, you will handle the Association’s loan documentation review and the scanning of loan documents with final verification of loan file completion, review daily reports, and perform various research assignments. This position also requires the review, verification and scanning of insurance documentation as noted in approved loan packages.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Loan Closing Support:

  • Consistently and accurately perform duties related to loan documentation review and the scanning of closed loan packages using follow-up reports to verify loan file completion. Actively uses CRM for tasks, the creation of activity plans and to document loans closed and customer contact.

Account Servicing Support:

  • Verify documentation of various insurances as required per loan approvals.
  • Handles insurance renewal tracking.

Loan Origination Review

  • Review accuracy of signatures, document data compared with Credit Pack/loan systems, and other audit issues as defined
  • Follow-up to ensure errors or omissions are corrected accurately and timely
  • Complete post-closing loan verification report and file in loan filing system as needed

Education

Associate degree in a related field or the equivalent experience in banking or finance.

Experience

  • Generally, 1 to 6 years of banking, compliance or legal experience is preferred.
  • Loan processing and documentation experience preferred.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Proficient knowledge of bank loan systems and documentation software
  • Proficient communication and customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of bank loan products, services, and policies.
  • Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform light duty activities.
  • Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance is required.

Salary range: $40,000 – $50,000, depending on experience.
