Correspondent Lending Specialist

Job Purpose and Scope:
Coordinates the loan servicing and loan accounting function for the Correspondent Lending Department.
Essential Functions:
- Loan member file records maintenance
- Accounting data entry
- Maintains Participation originator master file on each participant, including request of annual financial statement updates
- Indexes electronic files into OnBase for document storage and retrieval
- Creates and monitor ticklers
- Composes and creates correspondence with originators
- Assists with closing documentation and post-closing certification
- Posts receipts and disbursements
- Process incoming and outgoing electronic transfers
- Monitors and tracks insurance documentation to ensure procedural requirements are met
- Finalize loans
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field preferred or 5 + years of relevant experience.
- Strong work ethic that supports a willingness to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
