Posting Description: Step into a leadership role as our Credit Analyst Team Lead! You’ll serve as a trusted financial expert, guiding the underwriting of complex loans and collaborating closely with loan officers and processors to ensure high-quality credit decisions. You’ll manage the underwriting pipeline, provide quality control, and serve as a mentor and subject matter expert across the Association. Areas of Responsibility:
- Analyze financial information, prepare detailed loan narratives, and structure credit recommendations using the 5 Cs of Credit. Collaborate with loan officers and processors to finalize and process credit decisions.
- Manage the loan underwriting queue to ensure timely decisions and maintain high communication with lending and operations teams.
- Review underwriting work for accuracy, ensure proper documentation, and validate PD/LGD ratings, loan structures, and covenants.
- Serve as a technical expert and mentor to credit analysts. Provide training, support, and guidance on processes, systems, and best practices.
- Identify and implement workflow enhancements. Participate in pilot teams and cross-functional projects to support continuous improvement.
- Engage with teams across the Association to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with policies and procedures.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- Generally, five or more years of experience in credit or lending, with prior underwriting experience, is preferred.

- An advanced knowledge of agricultural lending and related financial products and services and selling skills.

- Demonstrated leadership as a mentor, trainer, and credit resource.

Salary range: $86,000 – $100,000 depending on experience. Opportunity to earn additional annual bonus incentive.
