MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Serve as the portfolio manager of the Association’s high-risk loans, including the following primary responsibilities:
· Manage the portfolio while maintaining compliance with Federal regulations
· Obtains and analyzes sufficient borrower information to service, classify assets, monitor loan compliance, manage litigation and/or resolve delinquencies that exist in the portfolio
· Negotiates repayment terms with high risk borrowers
· Negotiates with Association and borrower legal counsel
· Represents the Association in mediation and other litigation
· Maintains updated service plans and determines negotiation parameters
· Researches and recommends portfolio management strategies

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Ag Economics, or related field and minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a financial institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be proficient in computer technology and Microsoft applications. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to successfully communicate both verbally and written. The role involves working effectively in teams by building relationships, listening, valuing opinions, and helping the team achieve goals. A solid understanding of business, credit extension and administration, and legal issues related to borrower rights, RESPA, foreclosure, repossession, and bankruptcy is also necessary.
