The 2026 Internship: Are you curious about how financial decisions shape the future of agriculture? Join us for a 12-week internship focused on credit fundamentals, risk management, and economic forecasting. You’ll gain hands-on experience in ag lending, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support Missouri’s ag economy.

What You’ll Experience:
- Learn how we assess borrower creditworthiness and evaluate financial documentation.
- Explore how macroeconomic trends impact lending decisions and risk management.
- Dive into credit philosophy and fundamentals that guide our financial strategies.

What We’re Looking For:
- Current college sophomore, junior, first-semester senior, or graduate student.
- Majors in: Ag Business, Ag Econ, Animal Science, Agronomy, Ag Education, Ag Communications, General Ag, Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- General knowledge of agriculture, rural communities, financial services, and FCS Financial.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.
- Willingness to travel, collaborate, and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- College sophomores, juniors, first semester seniors, or graduate students
- Desired degree programs are Agricultural Business, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Agronomy, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Communications, General Agriculture, Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
Required Knowledge and Skills
- General knowledge of FCS Financial
- General knowledge of the agricultural industry
- General knowledge of agriculture/rural communities
- General knowledge of financial services industry
- General knowledge of basic financial/accounting terms and applications
- Skill in using Microsoft technologies including e‐mail, word and spreadsheet processing
- Oral and written communication skills sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics, and to effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
- Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association’s systems and data and clients’ data
