Farm Credit of Southern Colorado (FCSC) is seeking a Credit Support Specialist II to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for reviewing loan packages for completeness, and providing Credit and Loan Officer support.
This position is full time, working approximately 40 hours a week, and is benefits eligible. Occasional travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

Responsibilities:
Loan Staging and Processing
- Reviews standard loan packages for credit analyst by:
- Ensuring complete package is received
- Compiling application data and saving to the appropriate loan file
- Obtaining UCC lien searches, certificates of good standing, and credit bureau reports
- Staging assigned screens in the software program
- Submitting loan to the Credit Department for analysis
Credit Analyst Assistance
- Files supporting documents to the appropriate loan file
- Compiles and maintains actual cash flows for required credits
Loan Officer Assistance
- Requests entity eligibility letters for new accounts
- Prepares territorial concurrence/notification for CCO
- Assist with tracking annual financial information
- Stages loan reviews and collateral updates as needed
Keying Financials
- Enters information from borrower tax returns and balance sheets into software
Minimum Qualifying Characteristics:
- 4 years of credit support experience
- High school diploma, with at least one accounting course or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- General knowledge of financial statements
- Working knowledge of credit package documentation
- Working knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Skill in identifying and addressing exceptions to standard processes and procedures
- Working Knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook sufficient to create, update and save basic documents
- Skill in oral and written communication, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor, and borrowers
- Skill in accurately copying, posting, or transcribing data
- Skill in interacting and working effectively with others
- Skill in maintaining an organized workspace
- Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner
- Skill in analyzing information to define a problem or objective
- Skill in listening and conveying awareness of a customer’s problem or issue to find resolution

Salary Range: $46,000 to $56,000.
This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual salaries could vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Variation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. In addition, benefits for this position include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k, tax advantage accounts, paid vacation, sick leave and parental leave.
