ArborOne Farm Credit is seeking a Crop Insurance Assistant to provide excellent customer service in a professional manner to both internal and external customers. This individual will be responsible for: supporting the unit in managing and growing the crop insurance portfolio. Organizing and executing the documentation process for crop insurance by working with insurance agents, keying and reviewing applications/reports and submitting documents timely. Staying current on crop insurance rules/regulations, technology and special requirements necessary to assure accurate processing and administration crop insurance functions and programs. Must be a self-starter with proven communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Required Qualifications Qualified applicants will have: a Bachelors Degree in a Business Related Field or Agriculture or the candidate should have equivalent related experience. Must have strong communication and social skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities and navigate customer interactions with a high degree of professionalism. Proficient in MS Office. Preferred Qualifications A valid South Carolina Property, Casualty and Life Insurance license, two to three years of work related experience, and knowledge of agriculture is preferred.
