 The Role: Are you a digital storyteller with a passion for strategy and innovation?  As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind FCS Financial’s digital presence, from website to social media to email campaigns and digital advertising.  You’ll use data to guide decisions, creativity to craft compelling content, and vision to bring our brand to life.

What You Need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, agriculture or a related field preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years in of related experience
  • Skills: Proficient in digital platforms and content creation, analytics, and emerging tech like AI, plus a knack for storytelling and visual communication.

Digital Engagement 

  • Oversee website strategy, including content and user experience. 
  • Analyze traffic and user behavior to create data-driven strategies for targeted marketing and lead generation.
  • Proposes a comprehensive social media strategy plan, and executes once approved, to enhance brand awareness, manage reputation, and boost member engagement. 
  • Generate analytics and use listening tools to gain insights and drive qualified leads and website traffic.
  • Manage data-driven digital advertising campaigns on platforms like social media and search engines, ensuring full compliance with financial industry regulations. 
  • Monitor and optimize ad performance to maximize ROI.
  • Develop and manage the full lifecycle of email campaigns, including e-newsletters and member communications.
  •  Track key metrics to refine strategy and improve performance of email campaigns.
  • Research and apply AI tools to enhance marketing efforts and stay competitive online. 
  • Develop and manage a cohesive digital signage strategy for all branch locations.

Content Development and Strategy 

  • Lead the development of compelling digital content that tells the stories of our members and employees including: capturing, editing, and producing high-quality photos and videos that build trust and humanize our brand.
  • Collaborate with the Marketplace Engagement Manager to create and distribute educational content that empowers our members. 
  • Assist in developing digital assets to support member events and programs.
  • Serve as the primary creator and editor for all digital photo and video content, from short-form social media clips to in-depth customer stories.
  • Develop a data-driven content strategy that supports digital advertising, social media, and email marketing. 
  • Manage content to ensure it is optimized for various platforms and continuously analyze performance to refine future content and improve audience engagement

Data Analytics, Reporting and Strategy Support 

  • Serve as the team’s data expert by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing digital performance metrics from all channels. 
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to not only guide their own initiatives but also to inform and influence the overall marketing strategy for FCS Financial. 
  • Provide regular reports and presentations, highlighting trends, opportunities for improvement, and predictive analysis.

Marketing Team Support 

  • Provide hands-on support for all marketing team functions, including on-site assistance at internal and external events including: helping with digital needs for traditional marketing campaigns, member programs, sponsorships, and educational opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, agriculture or a related field preferred
  • 5 years of related experience preferred
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job

 Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient in digital marketing software and technologies, including Microsoft Office suite and Adobe products.  
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, social media management and listening tools and major social media platforms preferred.  
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification and Google Ads Certification are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in photography and videography, including editing, preferred.  
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of current digital trends, including the use of AI, to ensure FCS Financial remains competitive and discoverable online
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new tools and processes to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrated responsibility in managing budgets to maximize ROI without exceeding set limits.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, security and integrity of the Association’s systems, data and member-owner information.
