What you’ll do
– Lead the development, adoption, and curation of the Bank’s infrastructure and cloud technology strategy and roadmap.
– Work with Enterprise Architecture to establish a well-architected framework for Bank evaluation, design, deployment, and operation of cloud infrastructure technology (compute, storage, network, and AI/data services in particular)
– In partnership with the CISO, identify, adopt, and operationalize a security framework for cloud infrastructure which would be used to benchmark cloud security posture and well-architected security design.
– Coordinate with Legal and Procurement teams on the adoption of Cloud Marketplace constructs such as Marketplace purchase transactions, enterprise contracts, enterprise discount programs, etc.
– Develop, execute, and curate a cloud-focused learning path for new and existing Bank technology staff to upskill and keep current their technical skill.

– Coordinate with the DevOps teams to develop a strategy for infrastructure as Code (IaC) that coincides with the general CI/CD strategy for code integration (CI) and code deployment (CD)
– Lead the successful migration of the Bank’s technology infrastructure to the cloud using various forms of cloud delivery methodology as needed (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.)
– Architect, design, and deploy a landing zone using one of the major CSP providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) for purposes of building out a multi-environment technology landscape that leverages a well-architected segmentation of the accounts/environments (e.g. development, test, production, etc.)
– Complete a successful recovery of production systems and operational processes to the cloud.
