As a member of the Financial Reporting Team, you will be part of AgriBank’s mission to support the people who feed the world. You will have the opportunity to obtain real world experience in Call Reports, Shareholder Reports, external audit requests, monthly management reporting, and various other reporting needs including testing for process improvement projects and occasional GAAP and Regulatory research projects. You will also have an opportunity to gain exposure in other accounting areas and other special projects. Primary responsibility will be for preparation assistance for 12 quarterly and annual shareholder and regulatory reports. Additional reporting responsibilities and special projects may be provided over time. We are looking to hire an existing senior in school who will graduate in May of 2022. The position will commence in early 2022, with flexibility in the start date. There is a possibility that this internship could become a full-time role at the end of August 2022. During the school year, the incumbent would be expected to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year and required to work 40 hours per week during the months of May through August, with flexibility throughout the duration of the internship.
- Candidate should be a senior in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Position requires strong detail orientation and proficient skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with multiple individuals throughout an organization
- Skill in analyzing data and information to formulate logical and objective conclusions
