HR Business Partner – Columbia, SC (Hybrid)
The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic and operational partner to designated business units, supporting HR initiatives across employee relations, talent planning, onboarding, engagement, and organizational development. This role provides day-to-day guidance to leaders and employees while helping drive HR programs that align with organizational goals.
What You’ll Do:
– Support workforce planning, role design, and collaboration with Talent Acquisition on postings, screenings, and interviews.
– Participate in interviews and assist with selection processes.
– Manage onboarding processes for employees, contractors, and vendors.
– Serve as a primary resource for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and leave.
– Assist with employee relations intake, onboarding, learning resources, and offboarding.
– Track and analyze HR data to support department insights and decisions.
– Coordinate culture and engagement initiatives in partnership with HR teams.
– Gather and synthesize employee feedback to improve communication and engagement.
– Represent HR in meetings and cross-functional discussions.
– Support additional projects and continuous learning aligned with organizational standards.
What You’ll Need:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
– 4-6 years of HR experience supporting projects or cross-functional collaboration
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to make informed decisions and escalate when necessary.
– Strong problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments.
– Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data.
– Commitment to security, compliance, and organizational risk management principles.
