We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team and help us support our mission of serving agriculture and rural America. This role will be instrumental in maintaining our positive workplace culture and ensuring we continue to attract and retain top talent. This position will be located in Vero Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities
• Assist in full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Create and maintain employee files.
• Conduct offboarding activities such as exit interviews, preparation of separation documents, etc.
• Administer job descriptions ensuring signed descriptions exist for all roles.
• Assist with employee relations issues as necessary.
• Conduct employee verification of employment.
• Coordinate training and development programs.
• Conducts annual training needs assessments.
• Assist with performance management processes.
• Coordinate career fair activities.
• Assist with administration of interns.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Administer employee perks programs including spot awards, etc.
• Provide general HR support and administrative assistance as needed.
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Oracle HRIS system knowledge a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
