The Insurance Administrator’s primary function is to maintain and monitor AFC borrowers’ required insurance; including adds, changes, or cancelations to Lender’s Single Interest insurance.
The successful candidate will exhibit moderate decision-making skills and have experience with administering insurance in a lending environment. They will be comfortable managing various insurance and servicing duties including monitoring insurance requirements and reporting, data entry, and responding to customer inquiries.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Two (2) to four (4) years or more of related Insurance experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Job Purpose and Scope
- Prepare reports and tracks deadlines, prepare documentation in advance of insurance deadlines, and communicating changes on a quarterly basis
- Review schedules of insurance and policy confirmations for accuracy
- Serves as a liaison between Alabama Farm Credit and insurance carriers
- Maintains the Association’s property and casualty insurance
- Supports the Finance and Credit departments by timely responding to inquiries from regulators and auditors
