MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support hardware and software functions in all Association offices via remote control tools and on-site visits. Coordinate maintenance on all computer equipment, including software updates and maintenance agreements. Coordinate and implement association application updates.
- Respond to help desk phone, tech-staff e-mail inquiries and call ticket assignments in a timely manner. Resolve user and system problems with designated software and hardware. Mentor association employees in the use and maintenance of computer software applications and equipment.
- Create and maintain technical related documentation for the department. Ensure the information on the Technology Sharepoint site is accurate and up to date for both the department and for end users.
- Ensure accurate recording and tracking of all association technology assets using the designated asset tracking system and follow proper asset disposal procedures when technology assets are no longer needed.
- Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge in the area of technology. Assure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensure technical efficiency and an effective workplace environment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in computer science, business, or closely related field. Experience with Microsoft products highly desirable.
- 3 or more years of computer processing/application experience.
- Sound working knowledge of network operating systems, data, voice communications, and workstation operating systems and configurations.
- Ability to grasp details, learn new concepts, and adapt to change.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage personal and departmental time, including balancing a variety of daily and longer-term projects and demands.
- Ability to travel 15% of time.
