POSITION: Loan Documentation Specialist – Closing Team
LOCATION: Any office within the Association
SALARY: Commensurate with Experience and Qualifications
REPORTS TO: Closing Team Supervisor
Alabama Farm Credit is an agricultural financial institution that provides financing for agriculture, agribusiness and rural real estate purchases and improvements. The institution is headquartered in Cullman with five offices that serve the northern twenty-seven (27) counties of Alabama. With approximately $824 million in assets, the institution is a cooperative and part of the nationwide Farm Credit System.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a high school diploma plus two years or more of professional experience in the loan closing process required. Higher education levels and experience preferred.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Assists with the collection and verification of necessary documents for loans; prepare loan closing documents, forms, notices, and reports; review executed closing documentation and forward closing instructions to applicable attorney; requests loan disbursement. Specialized knowledge of legal descriptions, documentation of real property, title commitments/policies, and underwriting standards related to title examination desired. Frequent interaction with association departmental staff.
