Position Description:
We are searching for a full-time in office Loan Servicing Specialist to work in our Amarillo, Texas location. Monitors, coordinates, and processes Credit Servicing Actions (CSAs) and other post-closing servicing requests throughout the life of the loan. Ensures accurate documentation, compliance with FCA regulations, and adherence to internal Association policies and controls. Provides support to borrowers, loan officers, and internal departments to ensure servicing actions are completed timely, accurately, and in compliance with established standards.
Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
- Credit Servicing Actions Processing: Reviews, inputs, and completes credit servicing actions (e.g., name/entity changes, collateral releases, re-amortizations, extensions, partial releases, covenant monitoring). Ensures all actions are documented and approved per policy and procedure.
- Document Review: Collects, organizes, and reviews post-close loan documents for completeness and accuracy. Ensures legal and collateral documentation is in place before updating loan records.
- Record Maintenance: Establishes and maintains accurate loan servicing files in accordance with Association retention policies, naming conventions, and regulatory standards.
- Audit & Reporting: Assists in preparation for internal and external audits by ensuring servicing records are accurate and accessible. Generates servicing reports for management and regulators as needed.
- Communication: Works closely with loan officers and branch offices to resolve servicing issues and obtain required documentation.
- System Administration: Inputs data into the servicing and compliance tracking systems. Ensures system updates reflect approved servicing actions.
- Special Projects: Completes additional servicing or compliance projects as assigned by the Loan Compliance Manager.

It is an important role that covers many skills. This position requires:
- Two (2) to three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably in credit administration and document review. Proven ability to critically analyze documents, problem solving skills, and follow internal controls. Relevant experience gained through work in financial services or mortgage lending.
General knowledge of the following:
- Specialized knowledge of various types of credit offerings and the procedures required for administration of related loans and servicing actions.
- Specialized knowledge of loan administration practices, including legal document review, credit monitoring and related documentation.
- General knowledge of accounting/financial systems.
- Professional and courteous oral and written communication are required.
- Problem solving skills and proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work are also required.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively, handle multiple concurrent tasks and learn new applications quickly.
- The incumbent should have a sound understanding of credit and legal terminology and work well under pressure.
