Core Responsibilities:

• Recommend and implement HR best practices that align with organizational needs and improve employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction
• Utilize HR analytics and metrics to inform HR and leadership decisions
• Lead recruitment process with hiring managers to attract top talent
• Promote a respectful workplace culture by gathering information, listening to and addressing employee and leadership concerns promptly and effectively
• Leverage talent through career pathing, succession planning, and performance management processes and opportunities
• Ensure legal compliance of company policies and procedures
• Guide compensation to ensure consistency across the organization

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and 5 years of experience in an HR role, or equivalent
• PHR or SHRM Certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge in recruiting, selection, performance management, employee relations
• Working knowledge of State and Federal employment law
• General knowledge of compensation, employee benefits and payroll processing
• Oral and written communication skills sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics, and to effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
• Skill in balancing logic and intuition to make sound decisions in a timely manner
• Skill in identifying, addressing and collaboratively resolving conflicts
• Skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
• Skill in recognizing and maintaining confidential information
• Skill in utilizing Microsoft products to increase efficiency and effectiveness
