Responsible to manage the Association’s capital markets and participation lending functions, including sold and purchased credits. Manage relationships with participation partners to develop new business opportunities. Develop appropriate lending standards for large agribusiness and capital market purchases, execute the Association’s capital markets strategy to manage large loan concentration risks, increase portfolio diversity and manage growth. Assist credit staff in loan analysis and monitoring of large agribusiness credits. Coordinate the exchange of information and servicing of the Association’s purchased and sold loans with participation partners.
BA/BS degree with emphasis in accounting, agriculture or business. Strongly prefer 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, loan underwriting and documentation with large agribusiness or capital markets transactions. Applicants must have a basic understanding of agriculture and possess good analytical, accounting, written and verbal communication skills. Mobility on unimproved properties and ability to lift 40 pounds or more required. Some travel required in performance of job.
