We are seeking a Sales Skill Training Specialist who will design, develop and deliver unique sales training paths for each customer-facing job role. Train sales officers primarily via technology on sales skill development in either group or 1 on 1 settings. Embodies confidence and expertise in showcasing in group settings or individually, how teammates leverage sales training in accelerating customers’ buying decisions. Equip the company’s teammates with knowledge, skills and experiences to better manage their portfolio and to be an impactful business partner for customers. Work with Sales Leaders to develop, take the lead role in facilitation, and implement sales training and coaching models as well as assist with content development for major sales conference events while managing relationships with internal and external training partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and facilitate engaging and highly effective and valuable sales skill training delivered primarily via video conferencing tools or through multiple modalities:
- Includes sales skill sustainment exercises, video demonstration, podcast recommendations, e-learnings, internal publications or other events.
- Align sales training and development to the company’s sales strategies
- Continually reinforce that training and sustainment opportunities and efforts remain in alignment with the organization’s sales strategies
- Collaborate with Association sales teams to ensure alignment with strategic direction on the concepts, issues, and other messaging of the sales training program
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement team to design, develop and implement primarily in a virtual format unique sales training paths with role-specific sales skills that increase customer-facing teammate effectiveness
- Identification of learning objectives, and development of learning program concepts, proprietary content, proposals, agendas, communications and budgets

Education Requirements
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Adult Learning, Finance, Agricultural Business Administration/Economics, or equivalent training and experience
Years of Experience
- 4 + years experience in Business development/sales and sales training. Preferably has experience serving customers in agriculture or financial services (i.e via lending and/or insurance sales), and training and development experience
