Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (Columbia, SC – Remote)

The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect designs and implements cloud-based solutions that support scalable, secure, and high-performance environments. This role focuses on engineering and operational execution within cloud platforms, contributing to hybrid cloud initiatives and collaborating across teams to ensure effective integration and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement enterprise landing zones across multiple cloud service providers (CSPs).
• Establish foundational cloud architecture, networking, and security baselines.
• Define and deploy multi-account/subscription strategies and governance frameworks.
• Translate business needs into scalable, hybrid, and multi-cloud architecture solutions.
• Lead infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
• Apply network security controls and support compliance with standards like NIST and ISO.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to align cloud strategies.
• Develop and implement cloud cost optimization and governance policies.
• Support cloud monitoring, observability, and automated incident response frameworks.

What You’ll Need

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in cloud architecture or engineering roles. Experience with at least one major CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Nice To Have

• Certifications in cloud architecture, networking, or security from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and multi-cloud architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
