Position Description:
We are searching for a Sr. Data Engineer who will lead the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions. This position works within an agile environment and collaborates with product owners in creating and managing technical backlog of stories and epics. Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator individually, in groups and in presentations with a vision for how cloud data platforms can enable a better future powered by data.

Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures.
– Implement architecture for scalable and secure data platforms.
– Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, focusing on integration with Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
– Manage the full lifecycle of data and analytics solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

It is an important role that covers many skills. This position requires:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business or equivalent experience and eight (8) or more years of experience as a data engineer, with strong proficiency Databricks, and Azure Data Factory. Three (3) or more years of experience with designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Cloud. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala. Azure Data Eng ineering or Databricks Certification, and expertise with other cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake) preferred.
