The Sr HR Technology Analyst brings a unique blend of technical, analytical, and HR-specific knowledge, along with strong people skills – to effectively manage, optimize, and support our HR technology systems.
You will also act as a primary point of contact between Farm Credit Foundations and the outsourced technology provider to manage technology and implement new tools and functionality.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and building custom applications using Power Apps to address specific business needs.
- Creating automated workflows and processes in Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Developing data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI for actionable insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Leveraging technology to design efficient business processes within and between systems
- Delving into available system functionality to maximize the use of technology. Including tools such as Dayforce HCM, M365, and Jira Service Management and record retention platforms.
- Configuring and troubleshooting HCM environments.
- Developing and facilitating on-demand reporting and data integration requests.
- Creating and managing complex reports and dashboards to extract actionable insights.
- Acting as the primary point of contact between Foundations and outsourced technology provider.
- Organizing and leading pilot programs or proof of concept initiatives for selected technologies, managing timelines and resources.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology field
- Five years payroll, HRIS, or related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, are highly desirable
- Demonstrated technical competence with various Payroll/HR information systems (e.g. Dayforce)
- Proven experience as a Power Platform specialist, designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies
- Strong skill in complex report writing utilizing various tools primarily based on SQL
- Strong skill in understanding database relationships
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis in client service
- Expert skill in data analytics and business intelligence
- Ability to synthesize complex datasets, create key takeaways & recommendations, and influence by telling a story built on data
- Skill in performing a variety of duties under the stress of frequent interruptions or distractions
- Skill in HRIS implementation, deployment and upgrade
- Significant skill in leveraging and troubleshooting payroll/HRIS systems to help solve business issues
- Solid analysis and problem solving skills
