You will be responsible to expand and maintain the organization’s relationships with partners consisting of agribusinesses, cooperatives, corporations, other Farm Credit institutions, commercial banks, insurance companies, and other agricultural finance firms.

Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting Senior Vice President of Capital Markets in the identification of market potential, marketing and business planning, business programs, and development of lending opportunities.
- Individually manage or supplement association's lead role in marketing, credit evaluation, loan documentation, pricing strategy and customer relationships on large loans.
- Develop, maintain, and leverage industry expertise, contacts, implementation, and exposure to enhance the image and marketplace effectiveness of GreenStone.
- Provide leadership to Association staff working on large accounts to develop a highly knowledgeable and productive sales team.
- Serve as a resource for expertise in certain industries on largest association accounts where needed.
- Identify key enterprises and individuals to develop and successfully carry out marketing plans to capture lending opportunities.
- Maintains expertise in a designated market or industry to remain informed on relevant trends, opportunities, challenges, regulations, technology, and competitive activity.
- Attends customer meetings, industry events, and market conferences.
This position requires...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Agriculture Business, or related majors required.
- 7+ years lending experience in handling agriculture, agribusiness, commercial and/or capital markets transactions required.
- Experience with corporate lending practices with an emphasis on middle and large corporations preferred.
- Ability to work effectively on teams by building strong relationships, collaborating with others, valuing the opinions of teammates, and helping the team to meet its goals.
- Possess the ability to think creatively in developing innovative solutions that position GreenStone’s products and services at a competitive advantage relative to competitors.
- Ability to manage and develop existing business relationships and the ability to cultivate new relationships.
- Ability to educate, motivate and work with internal and external partners, customers, and other agribusiness professionals.
