Farm Credit CEOs Testify on Rural Economy, Disaster Assistance

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Bringing a message of how they are working with customers in this difficult agricultural cycle – and given the hurricanes last year and floods this year – three Farm Credit System CEOs will testify in front of the House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee this morning.

Southwest Georgia Farm Credit CEO Paxton Poitevint, Compeer Financial CEO Rod Hebrink and Farm Credit Services of America/Frontier Farm Credit CEO Mark Jensen will focus their testimony on recent disasters impacting customers, overall credit conditions for borrowers and Farm Credit’s specific efforts to help.
