Farm Credit: Farm Bill Will Provide Certainty to Producers

December 12 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President and CEO of the Farm Credit Council Todd Van Hoose released the following statement following Congressional passage of the Farm Bill:

“This is a win for agriculture. In a bipartisan fashion, Congressional leaders came together and compromised for the benefit of agricultural producers across the country.

“As they plan for next year, America’s farmers and ranchers will have the certainty of knowing which programs are in place to help them navigate an increasingly challenging landscape. And Farm Credit stands ready, as always, to work with our customers to ensure that they can provide the food and fiber for our country and the world.

“We urge President Trump to sign the Farm Bill as soon as possible.”
