Farm Credit Statement on the Loss of Rep. Jim Hagedorn

February 23 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Farm Credit Council President and CEO Todd Van Hoose issued a statement following the passing of Congressman Jim Hagedorn (R-MN):

"Farm Credit joins the entire agriculture community in mourning the loss of Representative Jim Hagedorn of Minnesota. Jim's passion for serving America's farmers and ranchers was rooted in a multigenerational family tradition of farming in southern Minnesota.

"Jim continued his father Rep. Thomas Hagedorn's legacy of service to the House Agriculture Committee and those who feed, fuel and clothe our nation. We extend our deepest condolences to Jim's family, his staff and colleagues on the Committee during this difficult time."
