Apple Wedge Packers is a fifth-generation, family-owned business in Henderson County, North Carolina. One of the largest volume shippers of fresh apples in the state, they produce apple cider from their own trees and with apples from other farms in the area. Their state-of-the-art packing and storage facilities sets them apart from the competition.

Greg has worked with Carolina Farm Credit for over thirty-five years, as his operation has grown tremendously. When Greg started in the apple business, he had about 30 acres and approximately 2,000 trees. Today the orchards consist of approximately 150 acres and 45,000 trees. Originally working with FSA as a lender, “The people I work with, they want to have an understanding of my business. I'm not just a number on a piece of paper, and I really do appreciate that.”
