West Oaks is a century farm, in operation since 1752, and is currently run by the tenth-generation–owners Joe and Mary Snapp.

West Oaks Farm and Market is a family-owned and operated business located outside of Winchester, Virginia. Joe and Mary Snapp have worked to grow and expand the operation to better serve the community with quality produce. 

Certified Integrity

Joe and Mary believe in building strong customer relationships through excellence and integrity. West Oaks Farm is GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certified in food safety, which means they keep the consumer’s safety in mind by ensuring proper growing, handling and packaging techniques are followed.

Growth and Expansion

West Oaks sells its produce, farm-raised beef, pork and lamb, free-range chicken eggs, baked and canned goods, seasonal flowers, pumpkins and many other novelty items at their market locations. They also operate a roadside stand, which is a popular destination for folks traveling around Winchester. 

Joe, a member of Horizon Farm Credit’s board of directors, and Mary are currently constructing an additional market location that will serve as an agri-tourism destination with features like pick-your-own strawberries, apples, pumpkins and more!
