Coming out of an AgFirst Farm Credit Bank marketing summit, one message was clear: Farm Credit associations wanted more tools to better support young, beginning and small (YBS) farmers and ranchers.

That feedback became the catalyst for AgBizInfo, a digital platform developed through collaboration between AgFirst and multiple Farm Credit associations. Designed specifically for YBS producers, AgBizInfo brings educational content, industry resources and Farm Credit opportunities together in one centralized location, making it easier for producers to find the information they need to grow and succeed.

Launched in 2024, AgBizInfo was built on a simple idea: connect existing resources rather than recreate them. By syndicating, aggregating and amplifying content already being produced across Farm Credit and partner organizations, the platform created a single destination where important information is easier to discover and access.

What began as an initiative in the AgFirst bank district has since grown into a Farm Credit System-wide program with 39 associations participating across all four Farm Credit bank districts. As the AgBizInfo platform has expanded, so has its role in supporting the agricultural community.

Today, AgBizInfo helps raise awareness for local YBS-focused grants, scholarships, educational programs and events, while also promoting association initiatives and social media content that might otherwise reach limited audiences. By bringing these resources together, the platform helps producers spend less time searching for information and more time putting it to work.

The benefits extend beyond farmers and ranchers. For participating associations, AgBizInfo creates efficiencies by centralizing marketing investments under a national YBS Farm Credit campaign.

Behind the platform is a dedicated team committed to keeping information current and relevant. AgBizInfo is supported by an AgFirst senior marketing and communications strategist who serves as the primary association contact, along with a program coordinator responsible for website management, social media, reporting and ongoing administration. Additional support from AgFirst’s marketing department provides expertise in media planning and buying, market research, design, strategic marketing and web development.

As the needs of YBS producers continue to evolve, so does AgBizInfo. New resources and capabilities are regularly introduced to improve the user experience and expand the platform’s value.

In March 2026, AgBizInfo launched a subscription-based newsletter to help producers stay informed about new opportunities and resources. In May, the platform introduced the AgBizInfo AI Assistant, an AI-powered chatbot built using OpenAI’s GPT-4.1 technology. The assistant provides multilingual, voice-enabled access to information available across the website, helping users find answers more quickly and efficiently.

Following Mental Health Awareness Month in May, AgBizInfo also expanded its resource library to include a dedicated collection of mental health organizations, programs and support services relevant to the agricultural community, reinforcing Farm Credit’s commitment to supporting producers beyond financial services.

As Farm Credit continues investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders, AgBizInfo will continue evolving alongside them. By connecting young, beginning and small farmers with trusted information, educational opportunities and valuable resources, the platform is helping build stronger producers, stronger associations and a stronger Farm Credit System.
