Located in the heart of Southwest Louisiana lies Supreme Rice, LLC, the premier exporter of U.S. milled rice on the Gulf Coast. 

In 2007, Supreme Rice Mill of Crowley was acquired by Louisiana Rice Mill with Bobby Hanks residing as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Supreme Rice currently offers four different varieties of rice in retail stores and other distribution networks across the country. Customers can find their white long grain, white medium grain, brown long grain, and jasmine rice in bag sizes ranging from one to one hundred pounds. Supreme Rice also ships to over 50 countries worldwide. 

At this operation, the farmers are the key to their success. Supreme recognizes this by featuring the unique profiles of Supreme Rice farmers on its retail packaging. From the field to the mill to the table, the family of farmers strive to bring the highest quality and most flavorful rice to consumers across the country.

Bobby Hanks holds a strong passion for the cultivation of rice, sound and ethical business practices, and a strong faith in his community.  

From the rice mill to the board room, he brings a stream of knowledge as a board member of Louisiana Land Bank, and serves as the chairman of both the USA Rice Federation and the Louisiana Agricultural Commodities Commission.
