A community-driven approach 

Tom Synder owns and operates Trinity Oaks, a 2,000-acre sportsman ranch used for hunting, fishing and positively impacting the lives of the nearby community. 

Since 2007, the operation has offered more than 100 events in hunting and fishing to support Purple Heart and combat veterans, along with special needs children and underprivileged youth. 

“Purchasing this ranch, it’s given us ability to carry on our legacy because of the philanthropic attitude that people in the farm and ranch industry had,” Tom said. 

A great relationship with Farm Credit 

Tom has developed a great relationship with Texas Farm Credit, who understands his vision to help others. 

“Texas Farm Credit is very philanthropic and supports a lot of charities throughout the San Antonio area and throughout Texas,” Tom said. 

Through his relationship with Farm Credit, the operation has met more donors and sponsors that have contributed to their operation costs.
